We recommend measuring your saddle length front to back. Add about 2” to each end for overall pad length.

Due to the nature of handwoven items, our blankets can vary within half an inch of the posted length measurement.

Our wither contour is ergonomically designed to fit a wide range of horses.

Custom contouring is available for higher “shark fin” withers or rounder, mutton withers requiring more or less clearance.

Our open spinal channel ensures the blanket stays lifted off the horse’s spine, promoting comfort and airflow. The channel remains dry after each ride, while a leather spine strip on top helps align the pad front to back for consistent centering under the saddle.
